Tonight, Evanston green architect Nathan Kipnis will discuss Evanston’s Climate Action Plan and a proposed offshore wind farm at 6 p.m. at the Firehouse Grill, 750 Chicago Avenue in Evanston.
The proposed offshore wind farm on Lake Michigan is one of about 200 suggestions in Evanston’s climate action plan to reduce greenhouse gas.

Northwestern University dorm residences are nearing the end of the fourth annual Green Cup - a six week competition between NU residences to conserve the most energy and water.

On my broker tour today I visited an upper-bracket single-family home in Northwest Evanston and several condos along Hinman Street in Southeast Evanston. Why Hinman? No reason other than there seemed to be a cluster of open houses on Hinman from the 500-900 block.
