Evanston homes and condos

The number of Evanston single-family homes that sold in April 2009 almost dropped by half, compared to April 2008 sales. The median sales price in April 2009 fell 11.5 percent, compared to April 2008 numbers.

 It took about 70 more days to sell a home in April 2009 than in April 2008 as the average market time jumped from 159 days last year to 229 days this April.
