August single-family home sales drop in 2009

The number of single-family home sales in Evanston dropped 22.5 percent in August 2009, compared to the same time last year. In addition, the median sales prices fell 22.7 percent this August, compared to the same time last year.  The average market time increased in August 2009 to 154 days, compared to 104 in August 2008.
