Solar and wind energy rebates now available

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity announced  the opening of the Solar & Wind Energy Rebate Program. 
The rebates can total 30% for residential and business applicants and 50% for public sector and non-profit entities with a maximum of $50,000.  Applications will be due April 30, 2010.  For more information, go to the IL [...]

Homebuyer Tax Credits extended to current homeowners

President Obama Friday signed a bill that extended  the $8,000 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit and Advance Loan Program to April 30, 2010. This is attractive for all homebuyers. See below:

October home sales stay steady but prices plummet

Evanston single family home sales remained steady in October, compared to the same time last year. But the median sales price for October this year dipped significantly  – 45 percent – from the same time last year.
